NRW Returning Scholars Program (NRW-Rückkehrprogramm 2022)
Are you currently researching abroad in the field of quantum technologies and interested in returning to Germany?
With the program to promote the return of highly qualified young researchers from abroad, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia offers you the opportunity to establish and lead an independent junior research group at a university in NRW. You will receive a personal funding commitment of up to 1.25 million euros for a period of five years.
Paderborn University is leading the way in the field of photonic quantum technology. With the 'Photonic Quantum Systems Laboratory', PhoQS for short, an international center for quantum photonics is currently being established on campus, where highly innovative interdisciplinary research is conducted at the interfaces of photonics, optoelectronics and quantum optics, computer science, mathematics as well as electrical engineering and information technology.
