Course content

This course is aimed at employees who have German language skills at B2.1 level. In addition to expanding grammatical knowledge and vocabulary, written and oral communication in everyday and academic contexts will be practised. The wishes and needs of the participants are taken into account when selecting the course content.

Content:
Reading academic texts in German as a foreign language - but how?
To answer this question, we will use exercises, tips and training in this seminar:

  • familiarise ourselves with reading strategies

  • Identify the characteristics of specialised texts

  • Discover text types from the subject area

  • Recognise argumentation and

  • Practise methods for retaining and using what you have read.
