Contents

This course is aimed at employees who have German language skills at B2.1 level. In addition to expanding grammatical knowledge and vocabulary, written and oral communication in everyday and academic contexts is practised. The wishes and needs of the participants are taken into account when selecting the course content.

Content:
Pronunciation is the most important factor in oral communication. We encounter it every day, for example in conversations, telephone calls and teaching contexts, but also in oral examinations or presentations. On your own, it is very difficult to hear and improve your own mistakes. That's why pronunciation training exists.
In this seminar, we will first look at your own native language and work out where sources of error are to be expected. You will receive professional feedback on your pronunciation and be given specific methods to work on your pronunciation. The aim is to help you master everyday oral situations in your studies or teaching.

Textbook

The following textbook is provided for participation in the course: Praxisbuch Phonetik - Aussprachetraining für Deutsch als Fremdsprache by Daniela Niebusch.
